"It was a good experience. They started within the stated lead time. They called to tell me a start date and showed up on that date. They said the job would take 4 days and they were finished within that time. The workers were very polite and worked hard. They matched the brick color perfectly and the chimney looks great. They hauled all the old brick away."
"They are a family owned business. The young man came out and I just liked them. The finished project was excellent. It turned out to be a big project because they had to custom make a form to make the cap. They were very good and I would certainly recommend them."
"Chris Carlson gave us an estimate. We chose him because of his reputation for quality. His very skilled and friendly crew came out on the agreed upon start date on time and spent the first day erecting an elaborate scaffolding to be ability to easily and safely access our chimney, which stands next to an outlying sunroom. A few small tree branches needed to be removed to complete the scaffolding installation and Chris called first for permission to remove the branches. Cracked bricks were replaced with new bricks which were matched with the original 1926 brick for color and texture. They also colored the mortar to match the original mortar color and added colorant to the concrete used in re-pouring the chimney cap. Flashing was done along the chimney edges at the roof line. are was taken not to damage nearby ground plantings. Cleanup was done each day and the entire site was hosed down to remove grinding dust from mortar at completion of the job. Teamwork among the crew was excellent, as was communication from Chris during and at end of job. We would highly recommend them, without reservation, as a first-rate contractor."
